養肝草又稱龍鬚、絲線根產自粵北山區，天然野生的一種植物的根。

養肝草湯方：特別推薦養肝草燉老雞（4人量用二扎，六人量用三扎）。雞半只去皮、肉2兩、排骨3兩、姜2塊、枸杞子12粒、紅棗2粒、甘草片2片、黃芪一塊、桂圓2粒、陳皮少許。
味道芳香誘人，而且色澤鮮美，沒有油膩感，飲用後，它可以有多種作用。特別是當孩子們有乾熱和厭食症時，可以每天煮湯喝，這樣可以達到快速緩解的效果。建議食材要清洗乾淨，全程小火。
